Know before you need it

Fire safety

In an emergency, leave if you can do so safely, call 911, and follow the building’s instructions. Keep this page and the full plans handy.

Evacuation

Get out, call 911, and do not go back inside.

Know your exits. If smoke blocks a route, use another one. Close doors behind you if possible. Tell emergency responders if someone may still be inside or needs mobility assistance.
